Booking Terms and Conditions

BOOKING - Please telephone or e-mail to check availability and provisionally book your holiday. Bookings must then be confirmed within 7 days by a booking form (Click here for printable booking form) which should be sent with your deposit. In the case of telephone bookings we will send out the booking form for you to check, sign and return to us with your deposit.

PAYMENT - Bookings must be accompanied by a 25% deposit. The remainder is due at least four weeks prior to the start of your holiday (unless otherwise agreed in writing) Bookings made less than four weeks prior to the start date of your holiday must be accompanied by the full payment. Reminders are not issued. Non-payment is deemed to be cancellation of your holiday.

METHOD OF PAYMENT - We accept payment by cash (do not post) cheque (made payable to The Old Stables), building society cheque or bank transfer (account details on request, please make all charges to your account)

CANCELLATION - If you have to cancel your holiday, you must notify us immediately by telephone and in writing. In the case of cancellation your deposit is forfeited. We will make every effort to re let the cottage but if we are not successful you will remain responsible for the balance of the cost. We make £25.00 administrative charge from any money refunded. We strongly recommend that you take out suitable holiday cancellation insurance.

ARRIVAL DAY - The premises are not open to arrivals until after 3.30pm (except by prior arrangement) DEPARTURE - The cottage should be vacated by 10.30am

GUESTS - Occupation of the cottage is limited to guests named on the booking form. Should you wish to make alterations to the names or numbers of guests please ensure that you have our prior permission, the person signing the booking form certifies that he/she is authorised to agree the booking conditions on behalf of all other members of the party. The person signing the booking form must be an adult member of the party.

COTS/HIGHCHAIRS - We provide cots and highchairs free of charge for children aged 3 and under. Please state your requirements on the booking form.

SAFETY - You are responsible for your own safety and that of your children at all times. You are responsible for the supervision of your children at all times. We do not accept liability for any personal injury, loss, damage or theft of your property however caused or sustained.

PETS - Pets are charged at £10 per week per animal. Pets must be fully vaccinated and under control at all times. All poop must be removed immediately and safely. Pets must not go on the furniture or in the bedrooms. Noisy dogs will not be accepted.

BREAKAGES/DAMAGES - Guests are responsible for the cottage and its contents during their stay. Guests must report any breakages/damage/spillages immediately. We reserve the right to charge for any non-trivial damage. Your cottage will be thoroughly cleaned for your arrival, please leave it clean and tidy on departure.
